Columbia, MD,  October 30, 2008 -       The RION DA-40 is a Compact 8-channel digital data recorder that provides users a lightweight and high quality instrument to record various types of electronic signals and waveform data for sound and vibration on-site measurement with line input and with CCLD (Constant Current Line Drive) microphones and accelerometers. Some features:

• DC to 20 kHz signal frequency range
• Color screen
• Pre-Trigger, level trigger, time trigger, external trigger
• Lightweight : only 1.2 kg (excluding batteries)
• Recording time : approx. 180 minutes (4 channels, 20 kHz x 2.4)  approx. 42 hrs (1-channel, 5 kHz x2.56) Using 4 GB memory card
• Measurement data stored on CF memory card as WAV file. Data can be reproduced as analog signal or output to external signal analyzer.
• Optional software for waveform analysis.
