Columbia, MD, April 14, 2009: - Scantek, Inc., is pleased to announce the availability of the newest product from BSWA, MC3122 New Hardware for its VA-Laboratory.. The hardware has the following features:

• Two channel ICCP inputs with x0.1; x1 and x10 gains: With the gain settings, the MC3122 can handle the signal from 18 dB to 170 dB.
• Two channel signal generator outputs: The output channels can generate Sine, Multi-tones, Sweep, Stepped Sine, Pink, White noise.
• Stereo headphone output for listening: Built-in headphone output for playback of recorded signals. Useful for sound quality analysis and hearing comparisons.
• USB 2.0 interface with PC: No driver software is required. The PC will connect the MC3122 automatically when it is plugged.
• Rechargeable Battery: With Built-in battery, the MC3122 can be operated for 4 to 6 hours.
• IEC61672 Class 1 standard: The hardware meets the Class 1 standard for the sound level meters.
• Solid Casing: The aluminum casing of MC3122 is rugged.
• Low cost: The MC3122 is priced at USD 2450 with Basic VA-Lab 2 software for FFT and 1/n Octave analysis.

Together, with the available software from BSWA, complete acoustical analysis for building acoustics, architectural acoustics, sound power determination, among other capabilities, are available in an affordable package.
